The squares placed in the last course on the opposite position of the gameboard are King squares. If a slice reaches the far finish of the gameboard, then it becomes a mogul. The mogul is allowed to proceed and derail diagonally backwards and forward. Kings can be captured like any other pieces. The back lasts until altogether of the opponent's pieces are captured, or are blocked so that they cannot make a proceed. The player who loses altogether the checkers or has them blocked loses the back.
