MeggieSoft Games Pinochle and Bezique is a comprehensive implementation of the original Pinochle and Bezique poster games (the two-player versions). Play against an online antagonist or against your computer. Pinochle and Bezique has a fat user interface with many customizable visual, audio, and gage options. Six different computer antagonist skill levels are available for when you are unable to have online, or virtuous want to use privately. Each is a gage of accumulating points from melding cards and winning tricks with the object of reaching the points target before your antagonist. Each round has two phases; the first of which is used to assume new cards from the stock and to wreak melds, the second being the playing off of the remaining cards as tricks. Points are scored for melds, and for winning tricks in phase two. The standard rigid of melds in each gage are optionally enhanced by commonly documented additional meld types. The user interface, commons to altogether MeggieSoft Games, supports both point-and-click and drag-and-drop mouse operations. Features include: realistic animated poster movement; right-click pop-up menus; a suggestion facility; a tutorial; automatic wreak; automatic save and restore of partly finished games; multiple-user scoreboards; a clear and uncluttered main window; status-bar shortcut buttons; and fully customizable main expose font and wallpaper effects for the table and playing matt, and the poster backs.
